The Plasterers Forum@ has stood the test of time, I can comfortably say that now after nearly eight years of being around and even with the influx of Facebook communities popping up left right and center The Plasterers Forum is growing strongly and still providing a resource that is easily searched and accessible to anybody throughout the whole world.
With a community that is growing milestones are important and seeing the forum go from the initial members back in 2006/07 to reach our first 100 members then 1000 then 5,000 and so on and so forth. It really is exciting for the community.
We have been getting the plastering industry talking right from the start, and we think we have done an excellent job at doing it, and all the members of the forum can give themselves a pat on the back.
But reaching a milestone like 24,000 members is a massive one I have to say I am overwhelmed with what I have seen and being able to grow a community in these tough economic times and stay committed to providing news and information directly to the plastering industry has not been an easy task. I have wanted to give up numerous times, but that is all forgotten when your reach milestones like this, and the next big one are going to be the 25,000 members which I sense we are not going to be too far away from.
I am really grateful for all the support and help that not only the members of the plasterers forum have given us but also all the plasterers forum sponsors and also my friends and family who have stood by myself while on a Saturday night, I have battled with spammers when I should be out enjoying myself.
The plasterers forum is here to stay and with its 470,000 posts on 25,000 different subjects we are going to here for a long time yet so please make sure you drop past and say hello to plasterers throughout the UK and the world and be a part of the worlds biggest plastering resource and plastering community.
Thanks again for your continued support and I look forward to celebrating more milestones with you in the future.
