The Carey Group which are a Wembley-based contractor has bought the £50 million turnover drywall specialist the BDL Group.
BDL was founded by Frank Burke over 30 years ago and has been developed as a market leader within the drywall sector. BDL has earned its reputation working on peak projects within London like the shard the Olympics, Terminal five and Canary Wharf. BDL is also very famous throughout the South and the Midlands.
BDL employs around hundred and 20 staff and more than 650 operatives, which are working on commercial and residential projects at any one time. BDL will continue to operate from its offices in new denim, Uxbridge and carry on working for major clients around the country.
BDL was sold to the Carey Group for an undisclosed amount, and it will be very interesting to see how Carey Group take BDL and drive it forward into being an even better company than it already is.
