I decided to announce to the world about Plasterers News, and I have already had a few questions as to why I have started it and what was the point?
Well, the main reason why I wanted to start Plasterers News was because although The Plasterers Forum is a great site, not everybody wants to read every bodies comments on a topic. They just want the cold hard facts, and that is one of the reasons why I started Plasterers News.
The other reason is because there simply is not a dedicated news site that specifically targets the Plastering industry, and I felt that this was a big shame. I have been working with a couple of companies to get the site to the state it is in now, and also we have a couple of very cool features that will be coming when the site grows to a larger capacity.
So What Are You Going To Expect From Plasterers News?
As you can already see from the site, we have news releases from British Gypsum, Knauf, Speedskim, Plasterers 1 Stop Shop, Mapei and many more. These are going to be companies continue to grow with Plasterers News but not only that they have already played a massive part in helping grow my plastering forum and as you know, is now the biggest plastering related resource on the internet.
Plasterers News is not only going to be talking about plastering topics but also everything that surrounds plasterers and plasterers that are running their own businesses.
We are going to be calling in industry experts to talk about topics on liability insurance and what you need to get the optimum cover and at the best prices.
We will be getting industry information about websites and how they can help your business how the use of social media can boost revenues.
Basic marketing advice right through to the stuff that the big boys use, and also we will be getting industry experts in on that as well (not just my views)
We will be doing product reviews very much like what we have already done on the Speedskim and Mix-M8
We will be reviewing open days that are put on by companies like Wallcrete and Knauf along with product research and testing days by the same and British Gypsum.
Plasterers News will become a very much needed extension to the internets greatest plastering forum that is The Plasterers Forum, and I hope in time that it grows to be the second biggest plastering resource.
When we send out a Newsletter from The Plasterers Forum, we will be directly linking to news articles and information on Plasterers News. This will pretty much be seamless 🙂
