Saint-Gobain Weber is returning to the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Conference + Exhibition, 23 – 25 June 2015, Manchester Central. Located opposite the Community Initiatives Café on Stand F16 Weber will exhibit a wide and diverse product range reflective of the company’s award-winning portfolio. Weber offer systems and products that provide a cost effective solution – from a single supplier – designed for the upgrade and maintenance of Britain’s ageing housing stock.
High performance, innovative BBA registered and Energy Saving Trust listed External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems in theweber.therm EWI range are capable of dramatically improving thermal efficiency of buildings in line with the challenging demands of current Building Regulations. weber.therm EWI extends the life of existing buildings, particularly hard-to-treat properties, by keeping the old structure warm and stable and at the same time considerably improving the aesthetics of entire streetscapes and the wellbeing of tenants.
Visitor’s will also discover Saint-Gobain Weber’s extensive range of market-leading renders and decorative finishes including weber flexirend highbuild, a decorative and protective resin-based coating that provides a high-quality, weather resistant finish or the BRE A+ rated weber.pral M monocouche render with One Coat Technology, manufactured to allow fast and easy application, including machine spray rendering.
Where floor voids pose a problem in the renovation of older properties Leca® Insufill has become the preferred material for efficient remedial work. “These lightweight ceramic granules are simply mechanically blown into voids, tamped down to create a stable base and capped with a screed to achieve a new insulated damp proof floor,” says Peter Temprell, sales and marketing director, Saint-Gobain Weber. “This brilliant material is cost effective, requires little time and effort to install, and is proven to save money and on-site labour.”
Also available on Stand F16 will be products and case studies illustrating technical mortars for concrete repair and protection; versatile and technically advanced materials for tile preparation, adhesive and grout, and the innovative range of flooring screeds which are quick and easy to install and provide a reliable and durable finish.
In this, Saint-Gobain’s 350th Anniversary year, you will find a product range illustrating the organisation’s global success in providing construction innovations and solutions and reasons to believe in a sustainable future.

Took me 2 weeks to put up plasterboard walls, make false ceinilg and plaster the room. It’s still not finished as there are quite a lot of blemished patches that I’m fixing one by one. In hindsight if this was a significant room in the house I’d definitely pay for a good job. On this small washroom I’ll make it right and it’s been an interesting experience but it’s not the best of jobs. I still wouldn’t pay a3400 although a3300 would be OK. In fact I’d pay someone now a small amount to go over the ceinilg and 2 walls.
